Hello! I’m Emily, thank you for being here.
I’m a wellness founder, nutrition student and writer exploring how nourishment shows up in real life, through food, wellbeing, travel and the way we choose to live. My work is rooted in personal experience, and in a deep belief that wellbeing is built through small, consistent choices that support both the body and the mind.
My passion for food as medicine comes from my own healing journey. At 19, I made a life-changing decision to turn down a place at Cambridge, where I was set to study Politics, Psychology and Sociology, and instead went to work on superyachts. That choice opened up a completely different world - travel, independence, grounding, and eventually led to a season on Below Deck and time living in Florida, where I completed my first health coach training.
In 2017, I returned to London and co-founded Pow Food with my mum. It was a moment where both of our paths aligned: we were both ready to build something meaningful, and I had just lost my father to bowel cancer, an experience that made me more passionate than ever about helping people eat well. We poured our energy, grief and hope into a business with a purpose far bigger than us.
Then the pandemic hit. Overnight, offices closed and our corporate catering work disappeared. Clients began asking us to deliver our food directly to employees’ homes - and from that simple request, Pow Food at Home was born. What started as a crisis adaptation became a nationwide healthy ready-meal brand with a loyal community.
In October 2025, we evolved and rebranded this arm of the business to NUUDA, real food with nothing to hide - a brand grounded in transparency, nourishment and the belief that food should support both people and the planet. Our mission remains the same: to create truly nourishing, chef-made meals that fit into real, everyday life.
After nearly a decade immersed in food and wellness, and with the support of exceptional nutritionists who helped me through my own recovery - I decided to pursue a long-held dream: becoming a nutritional therapist. I’m now studying nutrition and biomedicine at CNM while running a business and sharing the realities of learning and building at the same time.
Although I don’t travel as much as I once did, wellness travel remains a big part of who I am. Exploring places around the world that make you feel restored, present and connected to nature is something I will always cherish. I value experiences deeply, for me, memories will always matter more than material things.
Today, my work sits at the intersection of wellness, food systems and modern entrepreneurship. Through writing, consulting, content and creative partnerships, my aim is to share thoughtful guidance, real-life insight, and a more grounded, intentional approach to living and nourishing oneself.
Thank you for reading, and I look forward to the possibility of working together.
